CEREBRAL FIX To Be Joined By ANAAL NATHRAKH's V.I.T.R.I.O.L. At BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR

August 15, 2007

Reunited British punk/thrash crossover band CEREBRAL FIX has confirmed that V.I.T.R.I.O.L. from U.K. black metal band ANAAL NATHRAKH will handle vocals for the group's appearance at the Bloodstock Open Air festival on Friday, August 17. "This is due to our singer having other commitments and could not make it to the festival," says CEREBRAL FIX guitarist Tony Warburton. "Things were sounding pretty fuckin heavy at rehearsals and we are really chuffed to have him do this show with us, as well as playing the U.K.'s only true 'metal' festival."

CEREBRAL FIX will perform on the "Unsigned Stage" from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Friday, August 17.

Metal Mind Productions will release "Products of Disgust" by CEREBRAL FIX, a complete discography of this English thrash/death metal band. The group split up in 1993 but in 2006 announced its reformation. They have an album's worth of new material, but for now they are waiting for the reaction to some of the recent recorded new songs before making future plans. Bassist Frank Healy (also of BENEDICTION) claims that they are interested only in having fun, as they did in the beginning of their career. "It could last a few months or a few years," he says. "Who cares? CEREBRAL FIX are enjoying it, so join the rollercoaster for a bit!"

"Products of Disgust" consists of four CDs, all with bonus tracks (demo, live and previously unreleased tracks),plus a 32-page booklet with a complete band history. "Products of Disgust" includes also four new tracks, recorded exclusively for this box. Each CD will be made available on golden disc, digitally remastered using 24-bit technology. The box will be available on September 10 in Europe (November 5 in the U.S. via MVD).
